This building was the “Plain Jane” of the property’s collection.  This made it the perfect canvas for Jim Maronek’s “trompe l’oeil,” playful rendition of a traditional Russian cottage.  Inside and out, it insists that its occupants relax and enjoy Door County in a manner which is increasingly more precious.
