Firebird Cottage

Once there was a horse barn of logs, converted into a cottage in the 1930’s,  which burnt down.  Its ruins now form a distinctive patio for its replacement, The Firebird Cottage, built from massive, salvaged beams, fitted with slab wood cabinetry and decorated with murals, lumber scraps and Russian posters. It is a fairy tale come to life.
