When Carole and Jim first saw the property, up for sale in 1988, they fell in love with its beauty, but for Jim, love turned to obsession when he discovered the old log, animal barn which had been converted into an art studio.  This was perfect for nourishing the fine art, as well as the stage designs, he has produced over the years.  It still is.
